Petite Lemans Event
October 5, 2018 - 12:00pm - 4:00pm

PMC Members -

Please come join us on October 5 for the Petit Lemans Event!

We hope the Peachtree Miata Club can commit to having a noticeable presence at the event. We have sold quite a few Miata's in the past few months to customers who have voiced an interest in joining a club. We are referring them to you but I think an in-person meeting may go a long way.

This year, we will be hosting the RT24-P Race Car as well as the race simulator. Special guest Tristan Nunez will be also available for autographs. Food will be provided by Jim-N-Nicks BBQ and we'll have an ice cream truck providing dessert!

We hope you can join us and we look forward to seeing more PMC members, both old and new, at this year's event!

Thanks,

Aaron Gillison

The Mazda Prototype Number 55 will be on hand for an up-close view.

“Mazda Motorsports boasts the most comprehensive auto racing development ladder system of any auto manufacturer, culminating with the two-car Mazda Prototype team at the top level of IMSA sports car racing. For 2018, Mazda Team Joest will again race under Daytona Prototype international (DPi) rules in the Prototype class of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The new team - which combines the third-winningest manufacturer in IMSA history with the most successful team in endurance sports car racing history - will be racing the highly updated Mazda RT24-P chassis that has been developed by Multimatic.

The Mazda Road to 24 driver development program offers scholarships to help drivers move up the racing ladder from grassroots to the top of North American sports car racing. The Mazda Road to Indy is a similar system in open-wheel racing, and includes three Mazda-powered categories. In IMSA competition, Mazda powers the Mazda Prototype Challenge cars in the IMSA Prototype Challenge presented by Mazda series, in addition to the third-generation Mazda MX-5s that compete in the Street Tuner (ST) class in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.

In grassroots racing, more Mazdas road race on any given weekend in North America than any other manufacturer.
