If you register for an event but cannot make it for any reason, please notify the leader as a courtesy so they can update the registration list. If you cancel on the day of the event, please phone or text the leader ASAP so they will know not to wait for you.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Members have 3 options depending on their preference:

Option 1 - Share a Rental Cabin
Share a large 2, 3, or 4-bedroom cabin with other members just outside Blue Ridge. Put together your own group and book a cabin - or we can connect you with an existing group that is looking for members to complete their booking. See link below:

Option 3 - No Accommodations
No accommodations are needed if you're just planning to come up for the day.

EVENT DETAILS
Camp Miata will be in Blue Ridge this year and we'll be going back to our roots with shared cabins and individual hotels rather than a central headquarters. There is no charge to register this year since we are not planning a catered dinner or party on Saturday night. We plan to do group dinners out instead. Come for a day, overnight, or spend the weekend! This is the club's annual get-away and always a fun time together. There are multiple rides planned for both Friday and Saturday along with lots of socializing and fun together. We will be updating the event page as more details are finalized.

Located just 90 minutes north of Atlanta, Blue Ridge is within a day's drive of five Southeastern states. The Blue Ridge North Georgia countryside is richly blessed. The area comprises 106,000 acres of national forest, more than 100 miles of rivers and streams, as well as Lake Blue Ridge, a 3,290-acre crystal clear freshwater playground. Blue Ridge offers something for everyone, from outdoor adventures and family-friendly fun to shopping, fine dining and simple relaxation.

We will be using the company Escape to Blue Ridge for the cabin rentals. Founded in 2006, Escape to Blue Ridge has earned an impeccable reputation on an unwavering commitment to their Clients, Guests, Employees, and the Blue Ridge community.

Escape to Blue Ridge shares the mountain experience through their North Georgia cabin rentals. Beginning with one cabin in 2006, they’ve selectively grown their portfolio to more than 180 cabins. They select cabins for beauty, livability and proximity to the “Blue Ridge experience.” While the architecture, décor and locations of their homes reflect the mountain cabin tradition, they’re hardly rustic. With stunning views and gourmet kitchens, game rooms and hot tubs, they exceed the “home away from home” concept.

We have listed a few sample cabins below in the Fightingtown Creek area that can accommodate either 3 or 4 couples. Fightingtown Creek is located 8 miles (15 minutes) from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabins are not next to each other, but within a few miles from each other. We recommend having the members decide who would like to stay together and reserve a cabin as soon as possible. For each cabin there will be a Cabin Captain who will be responsible for making the cabin reservation on www.escapetoblueridge.com, providing a deposit of $250 and adding the names of the others that will be staying at that cabin. Thirty days before arrival to the cabin the remainder of the charges for the cabin would be charged to the credit card of the Cabin Captain by Escape to Blue Ridge. The Cabin Captain would request each member's share of the total rental charge prior to the 30-day deadline.
